enchantedSophie is my baby girl ~ the littlest of my lovelies. We call her a figment of our imagination. She really is that good! She’s remarkably well behaved, fun & radiates happiness. I loved this shoot so much, as she’s our creepy crawly child. She’s not afraid to pick up any little bug/spider/worm in the house and help it outside. Sophie’s should come mandatory in every home! She treats every creature, big or small, with such care, curiosity & love. Soph has the most magical imagination & seeks out adventures. Where most of us just crunch over grass, she stops to discover the patterns in flowers, how ladybirds tickle you when they walk, the joy of running with wild abandon & soaking in the magic of a million sweet sensations all around. Lost in her world, we played in the rain and the flowers for 3 whole hours! She is that happy exploring! This shoot showcases the soft, yet gregarious little soul she is. The youngest of 3 girls, she’s learnt from an early age to stand up for herself & make herself heard. She’s endearingly kind & will share her favourite doll or last bite of cake. We’re so blessed to have her in our world, to remind us of the beauty & simplicity in life. Time with her is as refreshing as a walk on the beach! It’s so fun seeing the wonder of everyday life through her eyes. Her sense of humour keeps us in stitches & like every proud mommy I know, I’m in awe of how smart she is. She has such a beautiful nature & I feel so privileged to be her mom.

My wish is that her sense of wonder is indestructible & immune to growing up! That she will forever see the world as an enchanted playground, just as she does now.
What I’ve learned from Sophie: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sharing is caring. Smile & laugh often. Play more. Love always. Be brave. Be free. Adventure is out there! So is magic ~ if you just take the time to notice it.

“To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.”
~ William Blake, Auguries of Innocence
